How agencies use On-Site Editor (OSE) to build client-ready editing experiences on WebinOne

Case: OGC Praxis by lochmüller.MEDIA – https://www.ogc-praxis.de

WebinOne Partner Tim Lochmüller (lochmüller.MEDIA) rebuilt the editorial experience for a two-location medical practice by using OSE (On-Site Editing) as the main way to manage content. The result: a site the clinic can update directly on the page – without switching interfaces, without backend navigation, and without technical support.

For agencies, this is a clear example of how OSE becomes a flexible, scalable editing layer that adapts to the project instead of forcing a more technical, backend-driven workflow.

How the project started

The clinic needed a system that supports:

  • Two independent locations
  • Doctors, services, FAQs, downloads, and news
  • A German-language editing environment
  • Quick visual updates for non-technical staff

Instead of relying on the standard admin, Tim built an OSE-first workflow that gives editors full control, right where the content is displayed.

Building intuitive, on-page editing for medical practices with OSE

1. Editing directly where content exists

Tim extended OSE into a clean, intuitive editing flow:

  • Edit buttons appear exactly on the elements they control
  • Inline controls adapt to each UI component
  • Relational content (e.g., FAQs linked to specific doctors) is always one click away

Editors work with what they see, no backend search, no training/learning curve. Just edit → preview → publish.

2. Managing real-world medical structures

Clinics rarely fit into simple system categories. Doctors split time between locations, services overlap, FAQs apply to multiple practitioners.

Using WebinOne’s multiple data source fields, Tim enabled editors to visually:

  • Assign doctors to locations
  • Connect FAQs to services and practitioners
  • Maintain consistent relationships across the entire site

Everything updates instantly – and editors always understand what they’re changing.

3. Full visual control with live preview

With OSE, the OGC Praxis team can update:

  • Doctor profiles and photos
  • Service and location content
  • FAQ sections
  • UI blocks, sliders, and images
  • Header overlays (blur, tint, filters)

Every change is visible immediately, giving editors complete confidence before publishing.

Results

For small and mid-sized clients, this delivers the feel of a custom setup – without backend development and without additional cost.

  • Clients manage all content directly on-page, without backend navigation

  • A German-language editing environment tailored to the client

  • Clear visual previews make updates faster and more accurate

  • Complex relationships (doctors, locations, services) are easy to maintain

  • Lower support overhead and stronger long-term independence for the client

  • A reusable editing framework adopted across multiple practice websites

Instead of relying on the standard admin, Tim built an OSE-first workflow that gives editors full control, right where the content is displayed.

Why it matters for agencies

OSE lets agencies design the editing experience around the client – not around the platform, transforming their website into a:

  • Visual content manager

  • Modular editorial workflow

  • Flexible architecture for complex relationships

  • Client-friendly alternative to backend management

For agencies supporting clinics, practices, trainers, consultants, or any fast-moving client, OSE offers a clear operational edge. It gives you the flexibility of a custom editorial system while staying within the familiar, efficient WebinOne environment.
